A big focus for us is always trying to support our local community. For us this does not mean just supporting local charities but our fellow businesses and residents. And you know how much we enjoy the 12 Days of Christmas Giving (and yes, it will be back in December 2024!)
We understand that the pressures facing local businesses and households in our community are greater than they have ever been and an idea has been bubbling away for quite a time for a small way we can help. We did come up with quite a convoluted way last year, but it asked too much of local businesses.
Fast forward to today, and we have it! Sometimes it is necessary to launch something that is “done” rather than waiting until it is “perfect”, but we hope that local businesses will get involved.
So we would like to introduce you to our idea of supporting both our high street businesses and residential community:
The Love Coulsdon Loyalty Card
By shopping at participating businesses in Coulsdon, Old Coulsdon and Chipstead, you can be entered into a monthly prize draw.
How will it work?
1. Pick up a Loyalty Card from a participating business
2. Every time you shop at one of the participating businesses you will get a stamp.
3. Once your card is full, drop it into our office, or through our door - with your name and telephone number on (these will only be kept for the draw and then shredded - no personal data will be held).
4. On the last day of every month a winner will be drawn to receive a prize. The prize for that month will be published on our social media page on the 1st of the month. The prize will be supplied by Walter & Mair (once we have our accountant's sign off on what he is happy HMRC will allow!)
5. It doesn't matter if it takes 1 week, 1 month or 6 months to fill your card up. It will be entered into the draw the month you drop it into us. If you shop a lot locally, and fill up more than one card a month, that is also fine - there is no limit on entries!
6. Once your card is full and you have entered the draw, make sure you pick up a new card.
We do need your help though.
We need high street shops and offices in Coulsdon, Old Coulsdon and Chipstead to sign up to be a participating business. We will of course be contacting them all, but we would love your help in promoting this.
