	I started my career in 1990 just at the time the market took a severe downturn. It was a challenging time and a steep learning curve as every sale took a lot of effort to agree and progress to successful completion. Looking back I realise that starting in this market gave me the experience of achieving results even when the market is against you. Since the start of my career I have worked successfully in both the corporate and independent sectors and have learned much about both types of organisations with it soon becoming apparent that the independent sector was the one for me. During my early career I became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and believe it to be important to be able to affiliate yourself with a body that demands a high level of professionalism and integrity, qualities that I feel are crucial in a service industry. 	I started my career in the City in the 90s and have always worked within a sales and finance environment. I spent several years working for an international bank having completed my business degree, and then worked for several years for a large American Company where I worked as a Leasing Manager and an Area Sales Manager. Although I bring the wealth of experience that a Corporate environment offers, I relish working for an independent firm and working with a very enthusiastic team. 	After graduating from University I commenced a career in Real Estate some 26 years ago as I always had a passion for property. Although I specialise in the Residential Market, I have had experience in the Commercial and New Home fields and I consider myself fortunate to have gained an all round perspective of the property industry. It is a joy to be working in a team who are as energetic and dedicated to helping people to fulfill their dreams when moving homes. Fortunately I do have an understanding wife and family, as I am a keen sportsman, and in my spare time can be found either playing golf or hockey.
